I Swear....Best film I've seen in a long time!!
I was lucky enough to attend a preview screening of I Swear last night followed by a Q&A with the director Kirk Jones (Waking Ned, Nanny McPhee). It's the life story of John Davidson, a Scottish man with tourettes syndrome, who has been the subject of several documentaries throughout his lifetime.
I laughed out loud in a good amount of it and cried a few times too. Judging by the snorts of laughter and sniffles I could hear in the cinema, I wasn't the only one!
It's not the kind of film that people will necessarily think of when wanting to spend an evening out, but I would happily pay to see it again and recommend it to anyone! Please give it a watch!!
