Dovshenko's much hailed materpiece came late in the silent era, most films by then were in sound, but some masters like Ozu kept making silents, this film here the last in a War Trilogy, I only have one other in it, Dovshenko was like one of the best along with Eisenstein but I do have another trilogy from Russia in the silent era, maybe i'll take a snapshot of that as soon as 2 hrs from now, but in the meantime i'll lavish upon my senses another gummy and watch
