Straight to the point why I dislike Pride and prejudice's 2005 adapation is very simply that it felt like the love story was too rushed to be real

and this film ultimately fails to convince me of much of anything that it tries to do, it feels like most of the actual plot was omitted in favor of letting it happen off screen or letting you fill in the details for them.

And this is a flaw that I find quite glaring in such a way that I just can't overlook it.
