I saw it recently. The original had more story line and plot and was much better acted than the sequel.

@TexChik Great soundtrack too on the original film.There is a sequel to the original I enjoyed.The remake just falls way short of the original.

@TexChik I know Swayze was a good actor, and I haven't seen the new one, but Jake Gylenhaal is a pretty damn good actor.

@SW-User Not this time. The writing wasnt great. Conor McGregor is huge and intimidating though. He was the bad guy.

@TexChik I've only seen the trailer, but I was impressed by Gylenhaal's performance. McGregor, apparently, is having some trouble in real life.
