Arriving 25 November - 4 December (Ingmar Bergman's Cinema)

Before going to sleep last time i read this review as a sort of bedtime story, this will be my first intentional Blu-ray purchase

https://www.rogerebert.com/streaming/ingmar-bergmans-cinema-is-an-essential-blu-ray-release

39 films, i think i counted 17 that will be new to me, and all of them as the reviewer in the link says, will be like a new film, not just for the restoration and stuff, but it's different as you yourself are different than when you last saw them. How true that is for anything one sees, or hears, ANYTHING. And with Ingmar, the beauty of it is that you're in good hands, a master director is just that, you just sit back and enjoy the ride, feel everything to the maximum. Arthouse cinema is rewarding cinema. Next will be the Varda set, and then Fellini, and i did write Criterion, pleading them to do a Fassbinder set, but for now, what i could set my eyes on is the Arrow Academy Fassbinder collection, with a whole lotta cool special features.
