Jacques Tati so far

here is a glimpse at the Tati part of my catalog, pay no mind to the numbering ... will all make sense in context, i shall add some thoughts, but be sure i am no critic

Jour de fete - 1949 - 86m - this had me giggling, good stuff

● The 1995 version - 80m
● Jour de fete: In Search of the Lost Color - 1988 - 30m - this was so intensely technical, i betcha the casual viewer could not be able to watch it attentively

after the above are Trafic, Parade and short films with all their delectable special features, this is a set i will take my time with and a good thing there's other versions of most of them, to compare and stuff, plus a nice thick booklet, probably a part of next order in 26 days will include Pierre Etaix, who worked with Tati on a few things.

I've seen very few of his, and even those a very long time ago!

@PhilDeep His filmography is pretty small too, only 6 features, i think up to PlayTime he was on it, then when that flopped, it took alot out of him, and just 2 more that he was contractually obligated to make.
