Do you like very old movies?

I had no idea they made movies like this back then and I'm watching it right now. It's trippy and way out there for a early 1950s movie.

I found this one that stars Bela Lugosi. Its from 1953

From Wikipedia:

The film is a docudrama about cross-dressing and transvestism, and is semi-autobiographical in nature. Wood himself was a cross-dresser, and the film is a plea for tolerance. It was widely considered one of the worst films ever made upon release. However, it has since been reevaluated and has become a cult film due to its low-budget production values, idiosyncratic style, and early cinematic themes of transgender acceptance.

I like good movies period. The movie about Ed Wood starring Johnny Depp was well done. Especially the casting.

Never heard of it. I thought Ed Wood was dead by the time Johnny Depp came famous

Not exactly true to life, however. I met Conrad Brooks, one of Wood’s crew.
Still, I loved the bit with Orson Wells.

@DocSavage Sadly, Wood never met Wells. It never happened.

I know, As I said, I met Conrad Brooks once, he talked about Wood, and the movie. Still, a meet between Wells and Wood, would have been great.

@DocSavage Did Brooks confirm that Lugosi was a vulgar, profane spouting old man?
DocSavage · M
@JSul3
Opposite according to him. Said Lugosi was a very nice man.

@DocSavage Thank you. I do not understand why Burton chose to show Lugosi as a profane old man.

I posted a personal rant here on SW:
'Tim Burton, the film Ed Wood & the Big Lie.' My concern is the number of people who believe that Lugosi was as portrayed, in the film and it angers me.
