I have 3 awesome grandsons. Each of them distinctly different and wonderful. I can't get enough of any of them. I love them all unconditionally and I can't imagine a world where I didn't have access to any of them. There's nothing I own that I wouldn't give up for any of them on a moment's notice.
I love those 3 Thunderball's of excitement and youth.
But I'm gonna say it out loud...
The first is my Guy and I love him more!
I treat them all a bit different but not based on the love factor. It's based on their personalities. They all get what they need from me and I'd die for any of them if it would save them or make them even smile for an extra minute.
But when it comes right down to it..., I love the first one the best.
Okay, everyone is now free to tell me how wrong it sounds to say that. Especially all of you younger people that noticed and watched your grandparents give just that tiny bit extra to your older sibling or cousin...
I'm sorry that you noticed and I want to assure that your grandparents really did love you unconditionally.
You'll understand it a bit better when your first grandkid is born. Maybe you'll even float back in time to when you saw this post..? 😏

I understand completely! I was my grandparents first grandchild … and boy did their favoritism show. In a lot of ways. Especially my papaws favoritism.
@CharityRae It's just a thing. There's no denying it and any grandparent that comes here and says differently..., they're lying to themselves only because they can't lie to me.
I understand the political correctness that people want to try and maintain. But falsity, even by an omission is a lie.
