What is the dumbest thing you've ever done?

@meggie Yeah...pretty dumb. Everyone who drives drunk thinks they are okay to drive...till they kill someone accidentally. My former nephew in law had a girlfriend once...and they had all been drinking heavily, and they had a fight.

He stopped the car...which HE had been driving drunk, and abandoned her with no way home except to drive...so she drove. Hit a kid in another car and killed him. She got five years manslaughter. I used to write to her in prison.

@4meAndyou i nearly crashed the car into another car and got a hell of a fright. I've never done it since. Sorry to hear of the lady in prison. It was good of you to write to her.

@meggie I am so sorry you had a fright. Until something horrible happens, as happened to Katie, we think we are invulnerable...that it just can't happen to us...but for Katie...it did happen, and she was in prison for 3 1/2 years...got time off for good behavior, but it ruined her life. I'm just glad she is no longer with my former nephew in law. He was bad news.

@4meAndyou thank you, i was lucky that night that I got a scare as well as stupid. I hope Katie is able to make a fresh start oneday and find happiness.

@meggie I am glad that YOU were one of the lucky ones. Katie, I am sure, will right herself...but a five year prison sentence is a lot to overcome.
