Why do we need Disney to remake all their classic movies in live action?

Nobody's been asking for them and most of the last ones absolutely bombed anyways.

Thei animated Disney movies have little to no character build up or back story.

I love remakes for adding depth. For example the Beauty and the Beast remake was just 🤌 and gave so much more depth to all my favourite characters.

I liked the first Maleficent and the beauty and the beast was ok.. The peter pan looks like sh*t i dont care to see it and the new mermaid i wanna see just to see if its a disaster or not.. But yeah i grew up with old school animated Disney.. The old films shoulda stayed that way..

@HeWhoWalks39 yeah,all remakes I'd seen were major disappointments. Especially Mulan because that one was my favorite classic, next to Lilo & Stitch.
