After a seasoned life of watching/reading True Crime...

I am quite tired of the following clichés:

- "The victim was liked by everyone. They lit up a room!"

- "Things like this don't happen in our little town!" (Apparently they do, cuh. 😒)

- "Nobody locks their doors in this town." (Well perhaps y'all should have had better sense.)
