I recently watched this movie for the first time in years and I forgot how insane but hilarious it is 🤣

Freaked (1993) has to be one of the craziest, weirdest movies ever made, but it is also one of the funniest I've seen! My sister and I were chatting about movies when I randomly remembered having watched it with her when it was on TV when we were kids. She remembered it too and after looking it up, we found that it can actually be watched in its entirety for free on YouTube:

Her and I watched it together and we just laughed our asses off through the whole movie! It's frickin' weird and bizarre and a bit gross at times, but it is so ridiculously funny. One of the best hidden gem films of the '90s, for sure. Crazy to think how it was given a $12 million budget (and it certainly shows), yet it's so obscure. Apparently the head of 20th Century Fox at the time of its pre-production really loved the idea of the film and so, he funded its hefty budget and even had additional merchandise prepared for its launch. After it was finished, however, that guy was replaced by a new executive, who apparently gave one look at the movie and hated it so much, he refused to give it any sort of promotion and so the film tanked hard. It's a real shame, because I think this movie would have attracted a sizable audience for its batshit crazy plot, incredibly goofy humor and practical effects that are genuinely impressive. It's not some phenomenal life-changing flick, but it is definitely entertaining. I recommend giving it a watch. It's worth the little over an hour runtime it has and the video link's right there.
