Were or are you a fan of Jean-Luc Godard?

He was only a little younger than the Queen, a full life the enfant terribles of the nouvelle vague had. Criterion Channel included his last 2 major works in their tribute which i plan to see soon now, Goodbye to Language and The Image Book.

My top 5 would be

1. Weekend (and the short film History of the 20th Century)
2. Vivre sa vie
3. Pierrot le fou
4. Les carabiniers
5. Numero Deux

I know he influenced Spielberg and the like, but I don't know too much at all about this director.

That said while I like movies I'm not a serious cinephile
