In imagination (and sci-fi) submarines and spaceships have lots of room and shiny things: in reality, they are cramped and cluttered because empty space (what I call breathing room) costs money. Look at many TV and movie dramas and most characters live in huge houses with lots of room, while in reality, the majority actually live in small, cramped spaces in cities.
I think my home is somewhat frackled. 🙄
