I can't imagine someone placing a dead cat in anyone's yard, unless they are sending a message. Do you have a neighbor that doesn't like you?

@BizSuitStacy He hasn’t lived there but a few months. Has young boys who sometimes toss their ball over the fence. They said they don’t get to see their mother often so the father is raising them by himself. He seems like a redneck from the way he talks etc. I don’t know why he would not like us, haven’t really had anything going on. Maybe he thought it was our cat or whatever and tossed it over the fence. It is right next to the fence like someone could have dropped it straight down. I’ve seen the cat around here. Saw it sitting on the brick window sill outside my bedroom window one day.

@BizSuitStacy It’s a rent house so no telling how long they’ll be living there.

@BizSuitStacy Probably too damn lazy to bury it. The boy told me this morning that the cat’s leg has been slashed…not the type of slash another cat could be capable of, more like the leg was nearly severed. He probably bled to death. There is no other neighbor that close to the spot by my fence that could have tossed it back there….they would have had to come in the back yard unless they had access to his back yard.

@4meAndyou He was in his back yard early yesterday morning playing basketball with a friend. The smell must have been gut-wrenching but they were out there for way over an hour.
