Is die hard really a christmas movie ?

I clearly feel die hard is not a Christmas movie , its a big action movie that takes place around christmas time . The only part of the whole film that does deal with anything about christmas is the party that takes place in the building . I would say that die hard is one of the best action hero movies that came out of the 80s .

I tried to watch it. Never got after the first few minutes. Does it get better later? I have my doubts.
