@Raymuundo You know I go back and forth on that movie. How can you not love a film which has the longest running single camera scene in film history (I think I described that right) starting from when they arrive at the nightclub, go through the kitchen and get seated. Wonderful. Yet sometimes I feel it is such a mean spirited film...yet who cannot love the performances? Like I said back and forth.

Apparently! Oddly I keep thinking my favorite Al Pacino film "Scarface" is a Scorcese film when in fact it is Brian de Palma. De Palma had an obsession with Hitchcock which you can see twice in the chainsaw segment of the movie.

I love old movies, Errol Flynn, James Cagney, Bogart
Abrienda · 26-30, F
@nedkelly LOVE Errol Flynn. I was in a theater once that specialized in older movies. It was "The Sea Hawk". He is not in the first scenes f the movie and when he finally appear there was an audible gasp from the women in the audience - he was that beautiful. Not handsome - BEAUTIFUL!

I love old movies, they don't make them like they used to
Abrienda · 26-30, F
Great art is never obsolete. Also remember the great music written for these films. They are timeless, too.

@Abrienda I agree! Am I following you? Lol
Abrienda · 26-30, F

Old is gold. The newer stuff is pretty much lame remakes of the older stuff anyway
squidgy · 36-40, F
@Gangstress I agree. DO you have a favorite genre?
Gangstress · 41-45, F

therighttothink50 · 56-60, M
I have seen roughly 3000 movies from the period 1930-1960.
They are the best!
