Any horror movie suggestions that are actually scary?

I'd like to see a good horror movie that's actually worth watching. I've watched so many that I've become desensitized at this point and nothing can manage to scare me.

Maximum Overdrive! lol, ok, that's not even the slightest bit scary, but the trailer says that it will scare the Hell out of you! I really enjoyed the movie, but if you're looking for scary, that's certainly not gonna do it!

Well, a good movie also works for me, so I'll probably watch that. It sounds pretty cool. @1961dave

@Radical: I would love to watch all the old classic Friday the 13th movies, and Nightmare on Elm Streets. I've never really seen them. Only bits and pieces. I saw a movie called "Honeymoon" not too long ago on Netflix. I thought it was a damn good psychological horror movie. I don't know how much it actually scared me.. but it was really good. I'd recommend that

@Radical:Yeah Honeymoon is about a couple(just married) who go on their honeymoon to an isolated cabin in the mountains. And basically, weird things start happening. Unexplainable things. There is a lot of mystery involved and it makes it such a good movie. Very suspenseful. Check it out definitely ☺

I really get the feeling that many of the modern horror movies just don't scare like the old ones. I'll be honest ,the first Conjuring movie was the scariest I've seen in regards to modern horror. I really liked it. Great movie. Other than that one, I really can't think of any others that genuinely creeped me out too much.

Friday the 13th, a nightmare on elm street, and halloween scared me when I was a kid. I guess the last horror movie I saw that I thought was good was dead silence. I'm thinking of watching the conjuring 2, but I'm not expecting much to be honest. @grasshopper25

Clam bake.

Best psychological horror ever made by the master, Hal Wallis.

Elvis died on the toilet it haunted him soo badly. :/

No joke, that movie and others by Wallis are nightmarish.

Its a dee snyder movie, and has robert england in it. It scared the crap outta my gf when she saw it... its about a person obsessed with torture and rite of passage rituals

Pretty much. Modern horror movies just don't do it for me, except for a few of them like the conjuring. @Grasshopper25
