@FurryFace: I think Rutger Haurer is what made Blade Runner so great. You could truly feel his desperation to live and his pain when he realized he could not.

@FurryFace: Well that is questionable. Was he evil or prone to becoming psychotic as the government wanted you to believe? Or was he a slave, with implanted memories, who wanted the option to live a free man? What would you do to be free and no longer fear being hunted down and killed?
