It's good...not Alien good though that's the way horror works now, it HAS to be action horror to be good which is a problem with the audience sadly.

@Fangirlsarah1996: Yeah that's what I said from what I read about the criticism. Most of the complaints were that that they didn't use the same tired horror tropes that they been using for like 100s of years. Granted I didn't find the movie all that scary but I liked David ever since Prometheus and each of the three movies has something slightly different.
Now I know why we have a list of the SAME movies with low quality plots that come out year after year after year.. mainstream audiences are to blame.

@satanburger: Exactly, Covenant was trying to be two kinds of film and it stretched itself quite thin in that regard, it did well enough though.

@Fangirlsarah1996: I personally liked Covenant a lot and liked where they went with it. I may buy it just to have it. I'll probably buy Covenant, the first Alien movie and also Prometheus just because lol.
