Whats your favourite rocky movie and why?
Rocky 4 for me. The russian is a cold motherfucker, the fight is more personal than ever, the training montages are cool and i love the soundtrack

As someone who not too long along watched them all back-to-back for the first time, probably 2. It showed Rocky finally freed from his self-doubt and trying to become more than what even HE thought was possible. And it humanized Apollo a bit, too.
And I'll give an honorable mention to Predator, which was made in response to Rocky 4, when someone joked that the next step up from Ivan Drago would be a space monster. Predator isn't a properly a Rocky movie, but it's excellent in every regard, and much like Tremors, there's not a single second of wasted screen time.
And while it's one of my most unpopular media opinions, I'll say that Rocky V is underrated. 1 and 2 were character dramas, with a sports background; 3 and 4 were action movies. 5 is another drama. It's not as good as what came before, but it's not as bad as people say.
