A combination of curiosity and respect compelled to stream Sleepwalkers,the last film made by actress Hayden Paterrite before her sudden and tragic death .While she was very talented actress who had some wonderful projects under her belt ,the honest truth his that the film isn't very good ,and when viewed with the knowledge of her personal struggles ,it's clear to see that she wasn't in top form for the picture : she looks tired and out of shape and you see a weariness in her manner .I'm not trying to be disrespectful; it's just the truth .But what I found interesting is how the movies plot mirror her personal struggles in a few ways .Without giving away the plot ,the film involves a woman who had lost a daughter and was dealing with an abusive ex - husband .In real life ,the actress voluntarily gave up custody of her daughter and was in an on again ,off again relationship with an abusive boyfriend.I suppose life really does imitate art .
