During covid, i would workout in my garage with very little lighting, and if i think of Andre Delambre, i will panic and run out of the garage.

The idea of living forever in a body that is falling apart frightened me so much. I think it was the forever part that was scaring me the most. The consciousness that never ceases to exist when everyone else and everything around dies.

I would say Jaws for the real world fear factor.

I’m going to say the Birds but I was very young when I first saw it. The Exorcist I believe is the scariest movie I ever saw even if it seems comical by today’s standards.

Invasion of the Body Snatchers and that was in the 60’s when I was home alone due to being sick.

It may sound weird but Beetlejuice lol. I was only ten, and the scene at end where Gena Davis and Alec Baldwin are turning into a dead rotting skeleton, FREAKED me out😩

When A Stranger Calls (the old one). I’ve seen all listed here except Conjuring 2. The first one was good). But when a stranger calls is the queen bee that still scares me til this day. I don’t do scary/horror movies anymore.

The Exorcist. I have a dvd copy which I've never watched but is there simply to ward off evil spirits
