I had a VCR and VHS tape movies a few years back... But my rich grandad and his wife got into this whole thing about watching old home VHS movies they had found in some old stuff they had and couldn't find a VCR anywhere so I sold my VCR to them so they could watch those movies and took all of my VHS movies to Goodwill LOL

Yes! Whenever I visit my grandma, she still has a working VCR surprisingly, and many of those movies are so nostalgic for my sisters and I...since the one we had stopped working ages ago, and she likes to preserve old treasures like that...but reselling for those prices...yeah, NO...

I don't own a VCR anymore.

I haven’t watched a VCR and probably 15 years and no more DVDs either or Blu-ray. Everything is streaming. It’s so much easier.

I think they would be getting old and the quality would be deteriorating.

haven’t in at least a decade. There are several movies I can’t find on DVD or even online that I had on VCR video types and I really liked those movies and would watch them again.

@dale74 I do collect dvds now

Once a VCR goes, parts are impossible to find.
You savage other VCRs for parts.

No we don't. I still have two VCR's and about a hundred movies, but we don't watch them.
