New Stargate Series to Pick Up Where Old Ones Left Off.

If that's the case, let's recall that Atlantis is on the San Francisco Bay side of the Golden Gate Bridge.

view of the Golden Gate Bridge from Atlantis

Clearance under the bridge is only about 230 feet. And the bay is roughly 377 feet deep at that point.

The central spire on Atlantis is at least 70 stories tall. It won't fit under the bridge - even if cloaked and somehow moving along the seabed.

Lifting off from the bay is bound to cause a public panic, even if the city is cloaked. There's water displacement to consider.

For these reasons and more, the series finale of Stargate: Atlantis ("Enemy at the Gate") should have ended with the spaceship city landing in the bay with its cloak damaged. Residents of the entire San Francisco Bay see it.

U.S. President Henry Hayes

The finale scene could have been President Henry Hayes watching all this on the news, calling his secretary and asking for some aspirin because, "I have the feeling I am going to have a bad headache."

Let's hope it's not drowning in lgbtiqa appeasement and wokeness like Starfleet academy was which has ruined the Star Trek franchise
