Is it normal to enjoy gore?

I’m not trying to be edgy or anything, but I really enjoy watching gore video and gorey movies.
I blame it on my father though. I remember being as young as 3 and he’d put on the SAW movies and other incredibly gorey and bloody movies in front of me. He’d even tell me to sit down and watch with him. I think I just answered my own question.

Some male friends of mine enjoy gore movies. They are absolutely nice and decent guys, there's nothing weird about them – they just watch splatter films such as "Art the Clown" to relax.

@samueltyler2 Never heard of; but I love "Star Trek" because I find Mr Spock incredibly sexy. He could take me to his cabin any time, to teach me astronomy if you know what I mean.
