Question.... Is Melania the movie ...

And I use that term loosely, still showing anywhere?

fandango can't seem to find it. I'd guess your best bet to see it would be on amazon prime.

@dirge believe me, I have no desire to ever see it🤣
I was just curious how long it lasted

@Convivial I have a morbid, similar to watching a train derail and catch fire curiosity for it. I wonder if they can MST3K it or something. but similarly, yeah. I'd never pay to see it. according to google it premiered Jan 30 and is gone in early march, so it had almost a month of theater time. the shortest month of the year. seems fitting.

I heard rumblings that service members were being ordered to go see it. which seems both terrifying and completely on brand for orange nightmares.

@dirge that sounds like it fits into the category of cruel and unusual punishment
dirge · M
@Convivial worse, it's not even supposed to be punishment. so. ... yeah. it'll be interesting and difficult times when things are finally forced to change.
@dirge why would you want to?
dirge · M
@KunsanVeteran to see how long I could stand it? I've read a little about how poorly executed it was as a film, I'd just want to see if I had the same impression. I don't expect great things from it. I suspect it's mostly closer to completely intolerable and probably something I wouldn't finish.
@Convivial I am relieved to hear that! I was legitimately worried there for a minute!
@dirge Well—seriously—about the only other thing that I could conceive of that would be worse would be to make a documentary about the entire worthless WORST FAMILY
Convivial · 26-30, F
@KunsanVeteran I'm safe, don't worry 🤣
@Convivial Well, since you raised this somewhat disturbing question in the first place, I feel obligated to remind your readers:

Call or text 988 immediately in the US and Canada to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, available 24/7 for free, confidential support with mental health crises, emotional distress, or substance use. You can also chat online at 988lifeline.org. For veterans, press 1 after calling 988.

However, I would highly recommend that they exercise extreme caution in viewing such a disturbing piece of propaganda in the first place…
