I often use the local book exchange at the shopping mall

Today I visited and there was the complete 6 disc sci-fi series Charlie Jade.
I brought it home with me.
Anyone watched it?

I don't know of a single bookstore within 30 miles. And even the one 30 miles away is big commercial bookstore in a mall. New books only. No exchanges.

@DeWayfarer We have plenty of book exchanges here in Perth.
At shopping centres, at train stations, at cafes, at laundromats. Help yourself. People leave books in bookcases for anyone to borrow or even keep.

@Gusman Bookstores are becoming extinct here. They are on the endangered species list! 🫤

Noticed even laundry mats you can't even find a circular (throwaway advertising).

Everything is online and gone digital.

@Gusman Thats an interesting idea. I dont know of any of those here. Although the charity shops usually have more books than they want..😷
