Anyone ever watch the series 'Doc Martin' with Martin Clunes?

Did you enjoy it? I loved it! One of my all time favorites.
Now they are trying to remake it as an American version. 'Best Medicine'. Good Lord. What a dumpster fire. They should have left well enough alone. Anyone else agree?

Just another example of copying UK programming. But then, didn't the UK make a version of the French show "Astrid"?

@LadyBronte its very interesting, about a detective, making friends with a young woman with ADHD, solving crimes. The young woman picks up on clues that others totally miss.
