Ever joined up to a TV rating scheme?
I know of at least two here - Neilsen TAM and OzTam.
You don't get paid money for joining up and participating - you only get 'points' to redeem on stuff like most other 'reward' programs. ie. basically a scam to get 'subs and likes' effectively.
The woman I got the ick with recently is subscribed to the Neilsen scheme. I found it a red flag because she really painted it as a pillar of social perfection to be a real life 'goggleboxer' and thinks it's part of her civic duties almost like she was promoting Scientology. I'd never met anyone who does TV ratings before.
My TV is off almost 24/7. 8-)
