Is this a unique attitude to have towards movies?
My girlfriend says she only likes to watch a movie once, then she doesn't need to see it again afterwards.

I typically do not watch again. I hate it when i know the story and have to sut through it.
Having said that, there are some really good old classics which i have revisited after long gaps and noticed stuff which i do not recall having noticed the first time. Or enjoyed it all over again. But thats very very rare.
