Anyone else here liked the Star Trek reboot movies?

They had their moments and re-hashing/re-imagining the characters was clever. I thought the actors worked the character features of the originals well into their performances. Unfortunately, in meeting the needs of an audience used to 'super-hero' OTT fight sequences, they lost me at times as the plot was suspended.

I have softened on them with time, but they're still the worst of Star Trek.

The only Star Trek stuff that was good was The Next Generation.

And stop misusing "reboot".
