John Candy: "I Like Me" (2025)

I watched this documentary on the late John Candy recently. It brought back to me how much I always liked him, and how much I’ve missed him onscreen.

While some other comedians’ humor is solely about being fat, Candy was a clever, funny comedian who just happened to be fat. He had so much personal dignity; was loved and respected as a good man.

Apparently his dialogue in Home Alone was improvised. What an amazing comedy talent, taken too soon.

I'm gonna watch this ♥
I never realized he passed so young
@OogieBoogie Yes. I tend to forget that, too. His father died at age 35 (when Candy was 5), also from a heart attack.
