Have you watched any really good old movies lately?

Lately, I've been on an old movie kick. Here are a few I've seen in the last few months

North By Northwest
The Ghost and Mr. Chicken
The Birds
Abbot and Costello Meet Frankinstine
DOA
The Long, Long, Long Trailer
one of the Ma and Pa Kettle movies
High Plains Drifter

Finding a good movie made that's been made recently is proving more and more difficult anymore.

Yes. I've watched old favorites countless times each. These include:

My Man Godfrey

The Treasure of the Sierra Madre

Playmates (1941) - an abysmal film overall but for a comedic tour-de-force by a literally dying Jack Barrymore (his final movie).

Safety Last (1923) - Harold Lloyd hangs on for dear life to the hands of a skyscraper's big clock.

Stalag 17

White Heat

Libeled Lady

The Kid (silent Chaplin tearjerker)

@rinkydinkydoink My man Godfrey has got to be the funniest film I have ever watched. I try my best to show that movie to as many people as I know.

@rinkydinkydoink the Treasure of SM is one of my favorites. Walter houston and Boagie knocked one out of the park!
@Bignakedguy

Each and every character was fleshed out, too.

@rinkydinkydoink I recognize a couple titles, and may have seen the others too, but some titles I don't remember. I I'll have to put them on my list to watch. Thanks!
@Dexiter

Walter Houston's "Howard" is my all-time favorite supporting actor portrayal.

Also, ever notice the partially obscured sign in the Tampico background and what it spells out? ( EVIL) Foreshadowing or what??
