Here's an original film idea

Some kids from a small town save the world from some invading threat. These threats thought that starting an invasion in some small town would be easy. Well they thought wrong. Because in this particular town, there's a ragtag gang of misfits with more than enough gumption and persistence to give the invading forces a real run for their money. Together they'll use their sharp wits and cunning, and teamwork their bway to victory.
