On tv shows or movies when someone is drowning and they are revived with CPR and start coughing up water why do they never turn them on their side?

Im not a nurse but wouldn't it be easier to cough out water when laying onto your side?

because in the movies, directors want to show the persons face, while getting CPR, you see the person trying to breathe, etc. it's all for the movie trying tp thrill the audiance
