who is your favorite portrayal of sherlock holmes?? i thoroughly enjoyed lucy liu as watson in Elementary

i had no idea this character has been subject of sooo many movies and tv series until this past winter catching up.

My absolute favorite was Jeremy Brett, who looked the way I always imagined Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s original character looked.

That said, I’m not a purist; I’ve also enjoyed shows like Elementary & Sherlock, contemporary depictions of the characters.
