My wife and I saw The End at the movies - laughed our arses off.

Speaking of the Internet Archive, I stumbled across a favorite movie (that I thought I could only get on the Russian site ok/ru ) - a dying John Barrymore's last film, a comedy from 1941 called Playmates.

@rinkydinkydoink The Internet Archive really is a great resource..and I've seen awhole lot of good movies there...Btw,the studio wanted no part of the end but Reynolds used his influence to have it made.."no one gives 25%!!!"😀

The first thing I see on Ebert's page for TE is the 4 stars... when Ebert liked something, it brought out the best in him.

@rinkydinkydoink Yes but RE didn't review it,he passed in 2013 but his wife Chaz keeps a stable of critics who she thinks are very good

Another old time star... there were a whole Irish gang of them called The Irish Mafia back when. Jimmy Cagney was one of them :)
