Do you ever watch the old Supermarket Sweep?

I don’t know why but I enjoy watching it still but I don’t like the newer show from a few years ago. Things get a little crazy in the later seasons when they start having contestants make sandwiches for extra points LOL like who thinks of that 😂🥪 and sorry I realize this is probably an unrelatable post.

By virtue of being born on Tuesday, March 16'th, 1965-I was too young to understand the original ABC network daytime version of "Supermarket Sweep"; however-at age 25-whilr living in the San Francisco Bay area-I remember watching the revised 1990 version of the aforementioned classic game show. Perhaps BOTH versions can be found on http://www.youtube.com :)
@cuteblondegreyguy I was only 14/15 at the time and completely understood it.

@NativePortlander1970 I see. I have been a television game show enthusiast since June, 1972-at age 7 years/3 months. I am now 60 years of age. What OTHER current/classic television game shows have you enjoyed watching?
@cuteblondegreyguy I'm not a fan of modern ones, even if they have history going to the classics. Do you remember when Alex Trebek was host of the 80's Super Password, and that he wasn't as stuck up as he was on Jeopardy. I'd say my two favorites were Press Your Luck and of course Price is Right.

@NativePortlander1970 I feel the same way. I believe that Bert Convy hosted the NBC daytime version of "Super Password" from September, 1984 until March, 1989. Previous versions of "Password"-going back to 1962-had been hosted by Allen Ludden and Tom Kennedy. Also-if my memory serves me correctly-Regis Philbin hosted a weekly prime time CBS version of "Password" in the summer of 2008. Perhaps the aforementioned television game show trivia information can be confirmed by watching http://www.youtube.com :)
@cuteblondegreyguy Sorry, I was thinking Concentration, where they had to match tiles at the end to win a car.

@cuteblondegreyguy I’m not sure if they are on YT but I watch the original one on my Roku. Not sure where on there but I just search for it and watch occasionally. It’s fun to watch and also I find it comforting
@tiltawhirl I have a roku myself, I watch the old game shows now and then.
