Could the kids survive on that planet

Me and my wife was watching the movie the knowing last night. At the end the aliens took the kid's to that new planet. My wife turned to me and ask me if those kids really could survive on that planet. They was left nothing but the clothes on their backs. How many kids do u know how to hunt or grow their own foods or build shelter to protect them from the elements.

The hard part would be having no tools. Sewing would require a needle. Maybe you could find or make a thread substitute but a needle would be a challenge

I think they would figure it eventually. There would be probably be some struggles before they got some sort of system going.
