Jonny Lee Miller for me. I enjoy the portrayal of Holmes as an addict. It pairs his superhuman intellect with human weakness. Benedict Cumberbatch is pretty amazing though.

Cumberbatch as Sherlock is brilliant, although the show has kind of become insufferable as it goes on. The first couple seasons are just great though.

I just started watching and he is damn good. Sorry to hear the subsequent seasons are a let down.
