@Musicman It's done with 3D and CG technology. The original movie had 3D effects. They take real human actors and overlay their actual movements with CG tech.
It's VERY realistic. The plot centers around a handicapped Marine, who is tasked with entering the body of an alien male, and eventually becoming a liaison between the aliens and the humans who are raping their planet of minerals.
@Musicman I've watched it like...EIGHT times. I would watch it again if it came on tonight. It is BASICALLY exactly like the story of the technologically advanced Europeans, who came to a new world and persecuted the American Indians. However, in THIS movie...the "Indians" win!!!
