been debating cutting the cord myself but the comparison is so time consuming plus i will need a really reliable internet if i am depending on pure streaming.

You would pay for TV
Why?
I just use my antenna on my roof and watch all the FREE TV I want.
Why would anyone want to spend money on things that are already free?
All the shows you mentioned you could just download them by using things like Napster. Other ways just watch on-line for free and other ways for free.

@bijouxbroussard I'm just a cheapskate

@HumanEarth Don’t get me wrong, I try to be frugal, too—but I’m not willing to risk jail or fines just to watch tv.

Not worried, been doing this for 273 years and I taught 12 USA presidents, 3 Canadian Prime Minsters, Queen Elisabeth, Diana, Princess of Wales. Frank Sinatra, Don Knotts and many more

I just got rid of peacock i decided that it wasn't worth the money. I found the same things that i liked elsewhere on other apps. I ordered AMC+ so that i can get into all the walking dead series and interview with the vampire.
AngelUnforgiven · 51-55, F
@bijouxbroussard it always happens that way. While we are on the subject i have amazon prime and i think ive been hacked there are shows on the watchlist that no one is watching and every week i kid you not ive had to call them to cancel channels that i didn't order. Within the last month theres been 6. Theyve refunded me each time within a day. You would think that they would say wait a minute we have refunded this lady 6 times. Smh ive changed my password atleast 3 times.

@AngelUnforgiven Oh, no ! That’s scary. I haven’t had that happen (yet) but I’ll definitely be keeping my eyes open. 😳
ronisme1 · 61-69, M
@AngelUnforgiven the movies and shows transfer around about every 6 months. If its only on 1, in 3-6 months, it will be on another site.

Stream pluto, freevee, roku, tubi, and plex. All have a free version and you will have more than you could ever choose from. I also like a few others.
bijouxbroussard · F
@ronisme1 I have those, too. I opted for Peacock because of a couple of shows they offer that aren’t available elsewhere.
ronisme1 · 61-69, M
@bijouxbroussard my wife ordered hallmark. $5.99 a month. That's all we pay.

I got Peacock on promotion a while back. They seem to have a lot of promotions. That's how Netflix was when they first started then they jacked up the price .
bijouxbroussard · F
@Selah I do remember that.

I think I get most of that free on 7 Plus. The streamer for one of our broadcast stations. All our broadcast stations have a free stream channel attached..😷

My promotion is up. I think I paid $70 😬
bijouxbroussard · F
@MellyMel22 Yes, that’s the regular price. Are you not allowed to take the Black Friday price again ?
MellyMel22 · F
@bijouxbroussard I don’t think so. My plan started late September.
Zeuro · 26-30, F
Damn $20 bucks a year? That’s pretty good.
bijouxbroussard · F
@Zeuro Actually it’s for that first year.
Zeuro · 26-30, F
@bijouxbroussard ah okay. Still, not a bad promotion
