Netflix did a killing when it comes to the theaters and dvds. But they're still keeping their head above the water. Just watched 🐞 🥤 ✌ . Didn't disappoint. I remember my first movie in the theater was the Titanic.

@Umile Seems as if it's rare to have a movie go to Theaters only. It's usually streamed, either immediately, or within a few short weeks.

I have a pretty good home theater room, with comfortable seats, food on demand, snacks, drinks, popcorn, I can pause to hit the head, or do a beer run if I run out, or even take a nap and resume later. Or pause and have a conversation with someone, without getting kicked out for being a nuisance. I can even organize an online "watch" party.

Back in the day, I perhaps took a date to the movies, but that's sort of a mistake. It's not like we're going to be carrying out a conversation or making out.

Until they go back to theaters only, and they mean it, the appeal of movie theaters is not there for me.
