Do you like to watch the same shows over and over?

My brother in law stayed with us for a week, and we spent much of it watching TV and movies with him. 90% of that was spent watching shows he's already seen, and he got irritable if we tried to watch something else. Why watch something so many times over?

typhoidjerry I am sorry I know he is your guest and sounds really anti social of me but do you not have a television in another room/ bedroom that if he wants to do this either you can or he can watch whatever they wish it may be a thought [ a rather expensive one I might add ]to invest in one ready for his next visit to head him off at the pass

Well the idea is we were watching as a group, not ignoring each other in the house. And I'm not too upset about it just... puzzled.
