It's amazing to see him -- and Werner "Colonel Klink" Klemperer -- as serious actors in OPERATION EICHMANN, with Klemperer as Eichmann and Banner as Auschwitz Camp Commander Rudolph Hoss.

Almost all of the German soldiers on Hogan's Heroes were Jewish. Werner Klemperer had it in his contract that Klink could never win.
