I've read a ton of Spider-Man comics but I have to admit I've not heard of Madame Web before, I read the Spiderverse Story and....

apparently she was in it but I can't remember. So. My point being that I'm surprised a movie was made of her character, don't know what it's about and am very confused at the savaging its received in the press.

That said, should I go watch it?

It was better then I expected, and better then the reviews said. I was concerned Dakota was the wrong person for the role, but she pulled it off. It seemed like a setup for a future movie or TV series. 7 or 7.5 out of 10.

Short lived character from the early 80's Spiderman comics i think.

Don't recall knowing of her previously to that.

Wasn't she caught up in the same thing that 'caused' the x-men ???
