I haven't really seen the movie since the 90s.. I know it's a classic but I just never found myself in a mood to rewatch it until recently.. I guess because it's Spooky Season.. I tried watching this movie twice in the last week and ended up turning it off to watch something else.. But I expectantly ended up chugging some 50 proof Coquito my cousin gave me and took a few tokes of some homegrown I grew on my windowsill and this movie is awesome. I thought it was a little too macabre the first 2 times I tried watching it but being a little tipsy and perfectly high is the ticket to a classic late 80s gem. I think I'm going to have to drink more and smoke more to get through the rest of it though haha
@pride49 Such a funny choice of song to get the copyrights for to use in your movie. Perfectly lighthearted to make a bunch of adults dance like children in a hollywood movie. I love it
@NativePortlander1970 Do you know if he saw it in the theater when it was new? I could imagine the crowd's reaction to certain parts would've made the movie a lot more enjoyable. I think the official release date was March 30, 1988
@GoToTheCompound Him and I saw it a couple of times in the theater together on the first year anniversary, the entire place erupting in laughter the entire time.
