Sad to hear that Haydn Gwynne has passed away

The British actress had appeared in theatre and television and in movies since the late 70's

Most recently she appeared in several episodes of The Crown but was also known for her role as 'Alex' a world weary tv Journalist for a 'sensationalist' satellite news station in Drop the dead donkey
Often said to be a parody of British satellite tv news station Sky News.

She had cancer and had been unwell for some time.
She was 66.
