TV companies are struggling.
New drama and comedy cost much to buy and produce and since streaming has become a thing that means audience share has shrunk and advertising is hard to attract as a result.
So that means TV companies are looking at what they already own the rights to in an attempt to try and attract new viewers to tried and tested formula.

@Picklebobble2 where do all your tax dollars go?
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
@DIABLISS Hospitals; schools; prisons; old folks homes; children's homes; road maintenance (although you get taxed every year just for having a vehicle on the road... plus insurance. and the petrol. Expensive business driving !) GP's (that's your local Doctor who will see and treat you free at point of need) Defence; law enforcement and a plethora of government quangos supposedly doing the work you assume government departments are doing on the country's behalf.
@Picklebobble2 so that sounds like America

Cause the studios are too pussy
To try something new. They just want to rehash old shit and ruin it. They know it’s gonna make money for at least a bit, until they cancel it again

It's a ridiculous idea. And would never be the same without John Mahoney 🙄
@Fluffybull true. but you can't blame the guy for dying. now Niles is another thing...why wouldn't he want to do it?
